Studies have shown that living foods have healing powers that can alleviate many illnesses from low energy, allergies, digestive disorders, weak immune system, high cholesterol, candida, to obesity & weight problems (weight normalization), etc.. Research and real life experiences have also shown that a person can prevent a body's healthy cells from turning into malignant cancerous cells by consuming mostly a raw food diet & whole organic foods!
The Bowels of Intuition
When we choose to eat, WHO is getting fed? As science expands our understanding of how the body works, eaters everywhere are benefiting—for we are beginning to see more and more clearly exactly WHO is bellying-up to the table when we choose to eat and exactly WHAT foods are healers that support our optimal function versus what foods are pathogenic that hasten the breakdown of all our systems’ parts and leads to early disease and death.
The Cleansing Diet
“There are two ways to clean a dirty water glass,” my teacher observed, with the studied deliberation that told me he was going to say something simple but with vast implications. “The first is to turn it upside down and wash it out.” He paused for me to digest what he’d said. “The second is to let fresh water run into it, fill it, and overflow—continuously running in and out over a long period of time.” Then he asked, “Which do you think works best?” I hesitated, suspecting it was a setup. Before I could venture a reply, he volunteered, “You think it’s the first, the emptying and the washing, but it’s not. The gradual approach is more thorough in the long run.” — From Radical Healing by Rudolph Ballentine, M.D.

The Basics of Food Combining
The goal of proper food combining, and of eating for that matter, is to make energy available. We need to limit the spoiling or fermentation of the foods we eat so that our organs won’t be impeded in their operations by un-eliminated, toxic metabolic waste, which is the major cause of overweight, illness and aging. To digest efficiently, we must pay attention to which foods are combined at a meal, especially breakfast, and to how much time elapses between meals.
What Are Systemic Enzymes and What Do They Do?
An enzyme is a biocatalyst - something that makes something else work or work faster. Chemical reactions are generally slow things, enzymes speed them up. Without enzymes the chemical reactions that make up our life would be too slow for life as we know it. (As slow as sap running down a tree in winter). For life to manifest as we know it, enzymes are essential to speed up the reactions. We have roughly some 3000 enzymes in our bodies and that results in over 7000 enzymic reactions. Most of these enzymes are derived or created from what we think of as the protein digesting enzymes. But while digestion is an important part of what enzymes do, it’s almost the absolute last function. First and foremost these body wide proteolytic (protein eating) enzymes have the following actions:
