SOMA Bodywork

  • Why invest in structural integration bodywork?

  • About SOMA

    SOMA Neuromuscular Integration®

Certified SOMA practitioners are trained at the Soma Institute for Neuromuscular Integration® in Buckley Washington. The goal of SOMA is to embody people with a profound connection to self through balancing the human structure's connective tissue system or myofascial network. Soma is a distinctive form of Structural Integration and in the late 1970's became the first of many off-shoots from Rolfing®.

  • SOMASSAGE®

Somassage® is an “attitude adjustment for the body”. An elegant and focused full-body massage developed from the principles of SOMA, it lengthens and energizes while integrating the client's connecting tissue.

  • SNI® Series

This sequencial process of eleven sessions attends to the historic back-log of specific and systemic injuries, stresses, and traumas that mat-down, dry-up, and prematurely age the body's vast and vital network of connective tissues. Joint, muscle, and nerve limitations that can fatigue the body and overwhelm the mind are addressed globally and specifically via the connective tissue's restoration. Post-series bodies are more fluid, vital, efficient, powerful, and resilient. Post-series minds are more clear, creative, logical, and self aware.

  • SNI® Treatments

Specific sessions for injuries designed to support and rejuvenate a particular joint or body-region's ability to heal. Treatments, one or several, address range of motion,  stress/tension, or pain.
