Integrative Breathwork

Experience the freedom of opening the breath. These sessions are designed to expand your experience of breath and energy moving through your body. The result is clarity of mind, free flow of energy and openness of heart.

Breathwork has been used as a healing therapy for thousands of years in cultures all around the globe. By focusing purely on ones breath with intention and intensity, a journey begins and is facilitated to release long held blocks.

Breathwork can be used for:

  • Improvements in asthma, sleep apnea and shortness of breath
  • Releasing emotional traumas that are held in our breath patterns
  • General relief of tension and built up stress
  • Increased breath capacity for singers, actors, public speakers and athletes
  • Spiritual  awakening, journeying and healing
  • The reliving and healing of the birthing process

Physiologically, the process releases and relaxes the musculature that effects our breath. When used as a therapy, breathwork can retrain the neurophysiology that controls our ability to breath fully. Studies show that the majority of adults use less than 60% of their true breath capacity. Under oxygenated blood is a leading cause of depression, lethargy, mind fog and is a condition that leaves the body ripe for many degenerative diseases.

Sessions will vary in their intention, all beginning with grounding bodywork and ending with integrative journaling or mandala work. Please refer to the articles section for further information.
